Eddie Hinton was a session guitar player at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio and the lead guitarist for the Shoals rhythm section from 1967-1971. He played guitar on records by Otis Redding, Elvis Presley, Percy Sledge, etc. What few people knew however was the fact that Hinton was a singer/songwriter and a good one at that. His records aren't easy to come by (or cheap) but thanks to you tube, we still have access to some of his stuff. Hinton died at 51 in 1995.
